Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists provide interventions to children who have or are at risk of having developmental delays and are experiencing difficulties functioning in one or more areas. It is a child’s “occupation” to play, be independent with self-care activities, and in many cases function in school-based settings. Occupational therapists assist children in being successful in all of these areas.

Our occupational therapists often use a play-based approach to facilitate the development of functional skills. We help children develop the skills needed to perform everyday tasks by using a variety methods to motivate and engage children.  Our therapists treat children with a wide variety of abilities and we welcome the opportunity to work with any child who needs extra support to reach his/her goals.
