Pediatric Occupational Therapist | First Steps

Barb has been an occupational therapist since 1996 graduating from IU medical school.  She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, SNF’s, the school setting, early intervention settings, and outpatient pediatrics while earning certifications in brain injury, manual lymph training, and kinesiotaping and additional training in feeding, sensory integration, reflex integration, splinting, modalities, and others.  Although Barb has worked in a variety of therapy settings, she likes working with children the most. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of diagnosis from cerebral palsy, autism, stroke, attention deficit disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, learning disorders, to mild problems impacting the school or home setting.  Barb believes that all children have the potential to achieve their dreams. She is honored to work with kids at All Kids Can to help them make their goals a reality. She is supported in her career by her husband, Josh and three daughters, Elle, Sophia, and Annie.
