My name is Ben Faulstick, I serve children by playing, listening, and sharing joy with them to help expand their skills in communication, motor development, and seeking happiness. As a preschool teacher, through Firsts Steps, and through ABA, my hats are many, but each provides an opportunity to engage, be silly, push limits, and extend children’s learning. While still discerning my career and volunteering at a food pantry, I interacted with a two-year-old Spanish speaker. Despite the language barrier, communication was easy and I realized working with young children was my calling. Being an ongoing and lifelong learner has led me to explore a variety of subjects for research including a paper and presentation on empathy and emotional intelligence. When not working at All Kids Can, I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee with Hanover College undergraduates and going on walks with my wife, Lindsay, and son, Wesley.
